What is in your Head

Most of us don’t even recognize the self-sabotaging thoughts we permit to run freely through our minds.  Science has confirmed, “What you are thinking everyday is becoming a physical reality in your brain and body.” These thoughts collectively affect your attitude which affects your state of mine. This is the Science of Epic Genetics which states thoughts impact the cells in your body.  The proteins in your body look different when you have positive thoughts as opposed to negative thoughts. The negative thoughts produce toxins.

STOP! What thoughts are you allowing to undermine your future? We need to take an active role to stop sabotaging our lives by not permitting negative thoughts to consume our minds. We can use these five spelling principles we learned in school (Baby Boomer Generation) to take dominion over these sabotaging thoughts.

  1. LOOK—at what we say to ourselves.  That is personal Self-Talk which comes from what we are thinking.  “As a man thinks in his heart so is he…” Proverbs 23:7. We need to recognize what we are saying and thinking to ourselves.
  2. SEE—the lie or negative thoughts.  Sometimes these are old thoughts spoken to us in our childhood that we have continued to believe about ourselves.  An example could be that an adult told you that you never would accomplish anything in your life.  Now, something can be True for moment, but not the Truth.  It may be true that I haven’t found my ‘Niche’ in life yet, but the Truth of God’s Word is “Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.” Proverbs 16:3 Amp. SEE—what God says about your situation. One of the principles of God is that He always comes in the opposite spirit.  This means we will not focus on the negative but will emphasize the positive. The positive would be what God has said about you in His Word.
  3. WRITE—out the truth so that you can remember it better. Those spelling words you wrote out because the more senses you used the easier it was for you to remember.
  4. SAY—you break an old habit by replacing it with a new habit.  It is important for you to say it so you can hear it coming from your own mouth. You replace the negative with positive affirmations from the Word of God. “…So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” Romans 10:17
  5. REPEAT—REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT TO REPLACE NEGATIVE THINKING.  We change or replace a habit in 21 days.

Now it is time to change what is in your Head!!!
